My Super Easy Charcuterie Board

I have totally fallen in love with grazing boards and after showing mine off on Instagram this Thanksgiving, I thought I’d share just how quick and easy it is to make a charcuterie board.

We are well into the holiday season and though things make look a little we are all looking for ways to make our home celebrations a bit more fun.

This year I wanted to do something a little special for the family so I made this charcuterie tray and man was it a hit!

So what is a Charcuterie Board?

Basically a charcuterie board is a super modern cheese, cracker and meat tray or a new spin on your average veggie tray. It’s fancier and the ingredients being more quality or higher end.

Ingredients you need

Charcuterie trays need a few basic things.

Cheese (hard or soft)

Crackers

Olives

Fruit like Grapes or dried fruits

Cured meats like pepperoni and Salami

Nuts

You can also add humus for any vegan and vegetarian options.

A nice charcuterie board or serving tray to display your foods.

You can also purchase lunchable style small plates that have the ingredients for a charcuterie tray in them.

I bought a lot of my ingredients from ALDI. They are my go to grocery store and they have cheap charcutierie board ingredients. I purchased smoked Gouda for cutting into chunks, pepper jack cheese slices, Olive mix, round crackers and honey glazed almonds. I added fresh cranberries for a festive touch.

The white marble serving tray came from ALDI as well. I think I spent under $10 for it. Probably around 7 bucks.

How to make Salami roses

The most comments I got were from the Salami roses. They are super easy to make. Simply for a piece in half and roll it. Continue to roll a new piece of meat around the last piece and so on.
