If you’re looking for dollar tree hair care products for black women, keep reading.

I try to save money wherever I can and that means that I often visit Dollar Tree for some of my household products. It’s also a place I can get hair care products for cheap.

Dollar Tree hair care products for black women

As a black woman with natural curly hair, it can be a challenge to find affordable hair care products for black hair. Especially at places like the dollar store. But today I want to share some of my favorite hair care products at the dollar tree that I have purchased over and over again over the years through the years.

Brushes and combs

I swear by the dollar trees brushes. They detangle my natural hair curly hair and are affordable. I have tried looking for these kinds of brushes in big box retailers, but this is the brush that works best for me. And the fact that I get it for a little over a buck is even better!

Hair ties and rubber bands

I’ve gotten plenty of dollar tree hair accessories over the years. From elastic ponytail holders and rubber bands to headbands, one dollar is well worth the price.

Hair clips and scrunchies

Hair clips have made a return and I really like the cute ones that you can find at the Dollar Tree. They have colors and designs that are just as nice as what she would find by other brands. If you’re looking for a good deal on scrunchies, you won’t beat the price.

Other hair tools

Hair claw clips for styling updos and hair snap clips that keep those flyaway hairs in place, come in so many colors that there’s something for everyone. You can also find plastic shower caps, a men’s hairstyling sponge, curlers, and even a crochet hook and comb for your crochet braided styles. Not to mention spray bottles and

What about shampoos and conditioners?

Now, I will be honest, I don’t mess with the actual hair care products like shampoos, conditioners, and the gels or creams because of the ingredients in their products. There’s a lot of toxins, and I don’t feel comfortable using these products no matter what the price is. I may do a deep dive to see, if there are any nontoxic dollar tree hair products but in the mean time, I’ll skip them.

Keep in mind

The hardest thing about shopping the Dollar Tree for your black hair care finds is that some stores may not have what you need in stock. No worries though, you can always get orders online. I was impressed by all the things that you can actually find online for just $1.25.
