Dollar Tree Beauty: Hit or Miss?

Dollar Tree stores have tons of cheap beauty products. But do they work? I headed to my local Dollar Tree store on a mission to see if I can help save you some money.

I bought a bunch of beauty products with one thing in mind, to see if these babies were worth the money. Hey, I know it's only a dollar, but who wants to waste their hard earned cash? Aint no body got time for that!

Dollar Tree Beauty Hits

Dermasil Dry Skin Treatment Original Lotion - We've got a winner! I have been using this lotion on my kids dry, itchy, skin for a couple years now and my kid loves it. In fact, he prefers it to other well know and more expensive brands.

Angel of Mine Corn Starch Baby Powder - I have been using this brand for a long time. It smells nice and works just as good as any other baby powder. I especially like that it's cornstarch.

Super Dry Top Coat - This is one of the best top coats I have used! Seriously, I feel like my at home manicure lasts so much longer and doesn't chip as much as the others. Buy this!

Dollar Tree Beauty Misses

White Rain Facial Cleanser - I had been using this to wash off my eye makeup at night and I thought it was okay, but it's really drying. I so wanted this one to work. Oh well.

B.B. Lip Balm - Okay, I suppose these are supposed to be similar to Maybelline Baby Lips, but no. Don't do it. These are not smooth and felt dry when I applied it. No thank you.

Body Rave Pink Passion Foot Scrub - What is this stuff? I'm not sure what it is, but it's not a scrub, that is for sure! It's mostly some kind of gel with very few grains in it. If you see this in the isle, turn around and go the other way!

Truth be told, I tried a bunch of other beauty items for a dollar, but they ended up being a joke and I didn't want to even waist my time reviewing them.

Now, I realize you get what you pay for. But, when you can find a product that works well for just a buck, well...your girl is a happy camper!
