It’s time to head back to college and today, I’m sharing college dorm room essentials for HBCU students as well as any student looking for African American college supplies.

Many college kids will be heading back to school any day now if they haven’t already. While some will be attending a local college in their state, many will attend an HBCU.
I always wanted to attend a HBCU. I even toured several college and universities in Atlanta Georgia when I was a junior in high school. But alas, going to a black college wasn’t in the cards for me.
What is an HBCU?
For those of you that don’t know, an HBCU is a historically black college or university. Some popular HCBU’s are Clark University, Spellman, Morehouse, as well as Howard university, the one I really wanted to attend. As well as so many others. have you ever seen a college football game with a Battle of the Bands at half-time? Chances are those were done at a Black Collège.

Some folks may not know what are your supposed to bring to college. But no HBCU college experience would be complete without repping your culture and your school. Take a look at these black owned products that will look great in your college dorm room.

Honestly, these college dorm room essentials are a good idea whether you go to a Historically Black College or not.
