Summer Trend: T-shirts and Biker Shorts

T-shirts and biker shorts are making a comeback and I am here for this easy summer outfit idea.

Whew, it has been a summer, hasn't it? I'm glad things are finally calming down over here. Now I can get somewhat back to normal, whatever that is.

I'm still hanging out around the house and not going out too much, mainly to the grocery store which means I have been online shopping more than usual. I'm still wearing my quarantine clothes but now that the weather is warmer I've been rocking casual T-shirts and shorts.


T-shirt and Biker Shorts

I can remember wearing biker shorts and T-shirts when I was a teenager. I used to get my little paycheck check from whatever fast food restaurant I was working at the time and head straight to Target to buy a pair of biker shorts.

Fast forward to 2020 and the biker shorts trend has resurfaced. Tshirts and biker shorts have been all over my Instagram feed and I’m glad to see this easy trend again.

First of all, It’s hot out and as much as I want to dress up in sundresses and be cute, my comfort is more important.  I'm all about being cute and comfortable at the same time

Secondly, we ain’t goin' nowhere! But seriously, this look can go from the house to the grocery store, to the lake, or just relaxing in your backyard. You can wear a t-shirt and biker shorts with your summer accessories like fashionable sunglasses, a baseball cap, and cute sneakers. Below you can see some of the ways I styled my outfits.


Honey Tshirt

I just love this cute Honey T-shirt that I received from Femme Luxe. I got so many compliments on it on Instagram. The fit is nice too.

Y'all know I love my pink so when I saw this t-shirt with prink leopard lips I knew it would look great with biker shorts.

Tiedye Tshirt

We've all seen the Tie-dye trend and I thought I'd get a cute pink tie-dye t-shirt to pair with white biker shorts.

I was really surprised at how well the t-shirts from Femme Luxe fit. They were p[pretty true to size. Since this was my first time working with them I wasn't sure how they would work on a plus size girl like myself. The tie-dye shirt was even too big but I order a larger size than I did the other tees and I knew I would style it wearing a knot in the front so it worked out fine.

Oh and by the way...

I also received this loungewear jogging set but it was more my daughter's size. It looks super cute on her, doesn't it?
