Decorate Any Room with African American Wall Art

I have been obsessed with African-American wall art lately! Every time I head to a TJ Maxx, Home Goods or Marshall's store, I go right to the wall art section to see if they have anything new for me.

I guess it started a couple of years ago when I decided to update our living room by replacing our black Jesus paintings (I still love those) with modern pieces and wall art. I even did a
DIY wall art gallery that I have since added to and I love the way it turned out.

Now, I've started seeing African American women wall art in the home decor sections of my favorite stores. I have found some really cute pieces too. So many that I have started a wall art gallery in my home office.  It started with this piece then I found a couple of months ago and has continued from there. Now, as soon as I see an African American woman wall art I snatch it up and buy it for either myself or my daughter.

I’ve come across some beautiful black wall art in all shades which I love most of all. From afros and gold hoops to gorgeous head wraps, these beautiful images of black women bring me so much joy and pride.

  1. Aww.. these are ALL nice. HARD for me to pick a 'favorite' hahah. But yes, when I was in my early 20s I used to decorate African statues and masks. I really loved putting them up on my wall. Next time I head out to shop at TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Marshall's i'll be sure to pay attention to these wall art. BEAUTIFUL. Thank you for sharing.
