We celebrate Christmas in our home big time! Every year I change our Christmas decorations and everyone gets so excited, especially my youngest. Earlier in November my kid and I took a trip to Bachman's to see the seasons new Christmas decorations to get some Christmas home decor inspiration. That's when I saw it. A blue Christmas tree. And I'm not talking about a blue-themed Christmas tree but an actual blue artificial Christmas tree. It was love at first sight!
It would go perfectly with our new living room furniture that we bought and I had to have it. I came back the next week and purchased it.
I like to stay on trend on top of home decor trends and Christmas time is no different. One trend for the season is non-traditional Christmas decorations. I really had no idea that I would set out to do this trend. Last year our home was all done up in buffalo plaid Christmas decoration and I had planned to do red and gray theme Christmas decorations this year. But when I laid eyes on the blue Christmas tree that was all she wrote!
I chose to go with teal/turquoise, silver and white Christmas decorations because it matches our living room.
Oh, how beautiful this blue Christmas tree is. I just love it don't you?
See? It's actually a blue artificial Christmas tree that has a frost to it.
After seeing yours I would totally get a blue Christmas tree. I wasn’t sure about the non traditional trend but this is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYes, I would! This is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNo , hubby only likes to get real trees every year with our daughter. This tree is quite beautiful though
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree. Blue was the color of our tree a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteI sure would! Our family had a traditional green tree a few years back with turquoise and fuchsia decorations, so you know I'm loving the teal/turquoise with white here. Everything is so beautiful and coordinates with your home decor perfectly. I might have to try a blue tree next year! Thanks for sharing the inspiration, Stacie!
ReplyDeleteI have blue and silver ornaments that I did when my son was first born I decided to change it up this year to red and gold. This is cute!

We got grey furniture earlier this year and we decided to change our theme of our Christmas tree to blue as well. I should've definitely saw this post before changing up some things! But next year I know what I want to adjust to give me the look I am going for! Oh that the blue tree is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThis tree is gorgeous. My Mom's favorite color is blue and I can see her loving this too.
ReplyDeleteYaas! For the Blue Christmas Tree? May I asked what do you do with your old decorations?
ReplyDeletesuch a cute tree! happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteYour tree is so beautiful! I think my next tree once the lights stops working on mines will be colored. My daughters are thinking of getting a white or pink tree.
ReplyDeleteThis turned out really nice, colored trees have become popular. I went with a white tree this year, but this blue is gorge.
