Summer Fast Food Options at Panda Express

Thank you Panda Express for sponsoring this post. Family is very important to me and now that my kids are older I don't see everyone as much but we try to still fit in family time. One of our favorite things to do as a family is going out to eat.

This summer has been extremely busy for us. Everyone has summer jobs or summer programs and were all just trying to enjoy the warm weather. Since I don't really like to cook during the summertime it made sense for us to all meet up at Panda Express for some tasty fast food.

Panda Express reached out to me and hosted my family and I for dinner last weekend. Can you believe I have never had Panda Express before? Since my family enjoys Asian food it made sense to check them out. We headed to our local mall to give Panda Express a try.

Panda Express offers delicious meats, handcrafted sauces and fresh chopped veggies that are prepared in huge woks. If you're trying to eat healthily no worries. There's something for you as well. Many menu items have 8g of protein and 300 calories or less. Just look for the Wok Smart sign.

With such a variety there was something for everyone in my family to enjoy, even the picky ones!

Since it was my first time dining there, I wanted to try as many items as I possibly could to get an idea of what I like. I forgot to try the Orange Chicken though which they are known for. We chose to order the plates that came with two entrées and a side dish and kids meals for the little ones. I went with the Mushroom Chicken and Beijing Beef while my son chose the Teriyaki Chicken.

The Hubbs had the Black Pepper Chicken and the Beijing Beef. My daughter rounded her meal off with the Sweetfire Chicken Breast. Sichuan Hot Chicken is new and I would've loved to try that one but I'll have to try it the next time I visit.

The Mushroom Chicken was tasty and I loved the fact that they had fresh veggies in this dish since I try to eat as many vegetables where I can. The fact that this was a part of the Wok Smart menu made it even better. But my favorite hands-down was the Beijing Beef. Usually, I don't eat beef when it comes to Asian food but I love the spicy fried taste of these beef bites. They were crispy and had a spicy tangy flavor.

The Black Pepper Chicken was good too with its peppery seasoning and veggies. I opted for the fried rice while my husband chose the chow mein as his side. We didn't get to try any appetizers but maybe next time.
