I want no, need to be comfortable in anything I wear. Especially when it comes to dresses. Have you ever wore an ill-fitted dress that rides up, is tight in the arms, or squeezes you? I have and nobody likes that feeling.

Comfort is key when you wear dresses. I don't wear dresses often, even to church because they're often uncomfortable and don't fit me right.

So when I was asked to pick out a custom piece from eShakti, I opted for a dress because hey it's been a minute. Plus, if I can customize my dress, that means it will fit. I've worked with eShakti in the past and they have good quality clothes. See my last review here.

With eShakti you pick your favorite design from their selection of dresses, tops, or bottoms. then you add in your measurements. You can pick the standard sizes or add your exact measurements. Next, you customize your design by changing the hemline, neckline, or sleeve length. Then wait 10 to 14 days for your made for you piece of clothing!

I choose this shade of purple because I love anything bold and bright. Since Ultra Violet is the Pantone color of the year, purple will be perfect for spring.

Pockets on a dress are always a good thing.

The black zipper waist detail makes this dress more stylish.

Dresses that zip up in the back have never been my friend and truth be told, I was a little nervous about choosing this dress because of it. I have a wide back and shoulders and zip up dresses can be too tight. But that's the beauty of custom made. It fit perfectly.

This dress comes in a midi length but I like my dresses slightly above the knee so I can show off one of my best features, my legs.

The only thing I would change about my eShakti dress would be to make it not as loose on the bottom. I gave my exact measurements but the fit and flare style of the dress would have probably been altered too drastically. As I tried it on, I wondered if it looked too big but my daughter loved the look of it.

Have you ever tried eShakti before?
