One of the things I like most about having natural hair is all the new products that there are for natural hair. I'm such a product junkie and it's cool because having natural hair has opened me up to a whole new world of hair care products.
Renpure just released a new curly hair care line called Viva Curls. I've been using it for about 2 months now it is doing wonders for my curls.
But wait, who is Renpure?

Look at those waves!
My Thoughts
I was really impressed by this line of curly hair care. I heard of Renpure before but had never tried any of their products. Everything smells so nice. It has a light coconut scent. The shampoo and conditioner made my natural curls feel soft and moisturized.
My favorite product hands down was the Renpure Whipped Coconut Lite Defining Gel. It gave my curls the hold they needed without making it too hard, crunchy, or dry. They did fill a little stiff in the back but not bad.
The website says that you can find Renpure Viva Curl products at stores like Target, Walmart, CVS and Walgreens. You can also check Amazon here. I plan to add this to my hair care regimen for sure!

I'll definitely have to look them up and try some of their products. Natural hair is all about finding what works for your hair. Thanks for the suggestion.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteI'll have to try this line out. I've been letting my daughter wear her curls naturally this summer and finding the perfect products for her hair is a weekly challenge right now. I have several that work and several that don't.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I feel ya. It's really trial and error.
DeleteI need to investigate more and read the ingredients list for these. Renpure is created by a white family, for "curly" hair. I don't necessarily trust a hair care product made for my hair by ppl who don't have hair like mine.
ReplyDeleteI get it. It's been working well for me though.
DeleteI'm definitely going to have to check them out. I'm a little over a year in natural, but I still can't get the curly texture that I'm looking for.
ReplyDeleteAw, I hope your able to find something that works.
DeleteI need to try this ! My daughter has the renpure whipped coconut leave in but it's not from this line ! I need to check this out !
ReplyDeleteYou know I was wondering if this was the same product with a new name. I'm really not sure.
DeleteThe joy of re-discovering your natural hair is learning what it likes and doesn't like. I had no idea that my hair fociles were so dag on particular.
ReplyDeleteSo true, Mimi. Everyone's hair requires something different.
DeleteI am still rocking with my relaxer but I can definitely use these products for my daughter. Will check them out.
ReplyDeleteThere's so many new products for natural hair now. I have locs and often fell like there's a little too much going on. Loved your waves. Will be sharing this link.
ReplyDeleteYour hair is pretty. Finding out just what type of products to use can be time consuming, but I'm sure you will make it work.
ReplyDeleteI am natural but normally only wear my hair in braids. I need to start trying different products to see which works better for my hair texture type.
ReplyDeleteNice! I haven't settled in on one product line just yet. These look like they work as advertised.
ReplyDeleteI've been wearing my hair natural for about 5 years now. I have to find something i love entirely. I wonder if this is it?!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this brand, but I'm interested. Your curls are really cute. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI've heard of this brand before, and I feel like I have used it too, but can't remember. I'm like you, I'm a product junkie and used so many different products in my hair that I have lost count. LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteI'll add Renpure to my growing list of hair products to try.

Your hair looks great! I will have to check out this line!
ReplyDeleteNice! One trick I have learned with gel to maximize my curls is to apply it and then re wet it a little either with a spray bottle or I do it all on the shower. And those curls just POP and it helps avoid that cricket feeling gel can leave too!
