New Renpure Viva Curl Gives Me Super Defined Curls!

Most of you know by now that I made the decision to go natural a few months ago and I'm so far enjoying my journey.

One of the things I like most about having natural hair is all the new products that there are for natural hair. I'm such a product junkie and it's cool because having natural hair has opened me up to a whole new world of hair care products.

Renpure just released a new curly hair care line called Viva Curls. I've been using it for about 2 months now it is doing wonders for my curls.

But wait, who is Renpure?

My Thoughts

I was really impressed by this line of curly hair care. I heard of Renpure before but had never tried any of their products. Everything smells so nice. It has a light coconut scent. The shampoo and conditioner made my natural curls feel soft and moisturized.

My favorite product hands down was the Renpure Whipped Coconut Lite Defining Gel. It gave my curls the hold they needed without making it too hard, crunchy, or dry. They did fill a little stiff in the back but not bad.

The website says that you can find Renpure Viva Curl products at stores like Target, Walmart, CVS and Walgreens. You can also check Amazon here. I plan to add this to my hair care regimen for sure!

  1. I'll definitely have to look them up and try some of their products. Natural hair is all about finding what works for your hair. Thanks for the suggestion.

  2. I'll have to try this line out. I've been letting my daughter wear her curls naturally this summer and finding the perfect products for her hair is a weekly challenge right now. I have several that work and several that don't.

  3. I need to investigate more and read the ingredients list for these. Renpure is created by a white family, for "curly" hair. I don't necessarily trust a hair care product made for my hair by ppl who don't have hair like mine.

  6. The joy of re-discovering your natural hair is learning what it likes and doesn't like. I had no idea that my hair fociles were so dag on particular.

  10. I am natural but normally only wear my hair in braids. I need to start trying different products to see which works better for my hair texture type.

  16. Nice! One trick I have learned with gel to maximize my curls is to apply it and then re wet it a little either with a spray bottle or I do it all on the shower. And those curls just POP and it helps avoid that cricket feeling gel can leave too!
