The evening was all about honoring a local Minneapolis real life superhero Peter Pearson. A fourth-grade teacher, father, and husband, who has been battling Hodgkin's Lymphoma. KFAN's Paul Lambert introduced Minnesota Vikings Xavier Rhodes who presented Peter with a Spiderman Homecoming Superhero medal.
Kids and families had the chance to color their own Spiderman masks and get cool Spiderman temporary tattoos.
About Spider-Man Homecoming
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
My Thoughts
I must admit, I didn't see the last Spiderman movie so I thought I would be out of the loop when it came to Spiderman Homecoming. But I've seen enough Avenger movies that I was able to follow along just fine.
There were so many witty, funny parts and I love seeing old actors like Micheal Keaton, and Bokeem Woodbine back on the silver screen.
Overall, I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend adding Spider-Man Homecoming to your summer must see movie list!
SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING opens nationwide on July 7, 2017. 133 minutes. To learn more visit www.spidermanmovie.com!

Are you planning to see Spider-Man Homecoming this summer?
I'm glad you enjoyed the movie. I've been kind of wondering if it would be any good and if he would be as good as Toby in the previous movies. Now, I am looking forward to seeing it. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteToby was the best, but I still like this one.
DeleteSuper Heroes aren't my thing but my teen loves them. He has been talking seeing it when it comes out. Luckily he and his grandmother share a super hero love.
ReplyDeleteI do love Bokeem Woodbine though.
I've learned to love them since I have boys.
DeleteI saw the trailer for this when I went to see wonder woman. Peter annoyed me in the trailer, lol. I know my hubby will take me to see it!
ReplyDeleteI'm still waiting for my hubby to take me to Wonder Woman!
DeleteI think this is going to be a great movie. I love Zendaya is going to be in this film!
ReplyDeleteShe's funny too. You'll like her character.
DeleteSounds like a great time, especially honoring a local hero. I can't lie I wasn't excited about this new version of Spiderman because of the new actors, but i guess if Batman can be played by different actors, it makes sense.
ReplyDeleteI feel you Jonna. I don't like when they switch it up. But I did like this new story.
DeleteI need to check this movie out. I've been waiting for a new Spider-Man. He is one of my favorites. Always fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteYou'll love it then!
DeleteI should take my son to see this. Anything Marvel related he loves!
ReplyDeleteBoys will love it for sure.
DeleteI can't seem to understand why "Spiderman" movies continue to be made. I like them, but I would love to see some new super heroes in action.
ReplyDeleteReally? Well I guess you really have to be a fan of it.
DeleteMy kids love all things super heroes. Looks like a great time was had by all!
ReplyDeleteYou should go see it then!
DeleteSpider Man is so much fun! I am happy that you enjoyed the movie! My children love movies!
ReplyDeleteYeah, we had a good time.
DeleteI absolutely not sure if I want to watch this as I am not such a big fan of Spiderman
ReplyDeleteI get it.
DeleteMy son is really looking forward to seeing this one. Not sure when we will, but I am pretty sure it will be soon. He is a huge fan.
ReplyDeleteMy boys love Spiderman. We didn't go see this though because its been entirely too hot and I've had enough of the heat from football practice. They have to wait until it comes out digitally.
ReplyDeleteWe don't do Super Hero movies, I guess because the girls think it's more for boys. I'm glad you enjoyed the movie!
