The Beauty Summit Re-cap

A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of attending the Beauty Summit which was formally the Midwest Make Up show. Several beauty vendors and aficionados got together for two days of learning and shopping.

Last year, the Midwest Makeup Show was held at a boutique hotel. This time around, Beauty Summit re-branded it's name and focus to be a destination more designed for beauty professionals.

The Beauty Summit was located in Intelligent Nutrients event center. It turned out to be the perfect space to hold a beauty event.

Several vendors had their beauty products on display. Time to shop!

Klass cosmetics was a brand that I really loved because they give back to women who have suffered from domestic violence.

Norcostco was a professional makeup brand that my daughter noticed right away. She's an inspiring makeup artist and has been so for years. You can see some of her work here!

I loved seeing that the hair care industry is embracing the natural hair movement and wanting to educate its hairstylists on how to style natural hair.

The panel included the nation's top makeup artists and hairstylists in the industry.

My daughter and I learned so much from attending this educational beauty event and I can't wait to see what they have in store for us next year!

Do you attend beauty events in your area?

  1. I need to see if there are any makeup shows close to my area here in NC. This looks like a great time, Stacie! I would like to look more into the Klass Cosmetics now. Thank you for sharing your experience with us!

  2. I haven't been to any since I moved out of the city. I should go with my daughter sometime to shows; she's a cosmetologist, hair and makeup artist & stylist for the wedding industry.
