Feelin' Bougie: Cafe Latte

Today, I'm going to introduce a new series that has honestly been in sitting in my drafts for years. You see, your girl has a bougie side and it's time I tell you about my bougie little adventures.

First on my list? Only my favorite cafe in the whole world. None other than Cafe Latte.

Every once in a while I get this urge to take a trip down St. Paul's, Grand Avenue. And when I do, you know I'm going to this delicious eatery. This modern cafĂ© can be found right on the corner of Grand Avenue and Victoria St. in St. Paul.

They have some of the best food around. From fresh salads, sandwiches, soups, and even pizza, there's something to please every pallet.

Seriously you guys, I have tried everything from their coffee served in tall glass mugs to soup and there was nothing that I didn't like.

Cafe Latte cakes and treats in a case at bakery

My favorite thing about Cafe Latte hands-down is the bakery. Sometimes I'll treat myself to a chocolate cupcake but if you're lucky enough to get a vanilla one, grab it! It is the best buttery tasting vanilla cupcake you'll ever eat in your life. Vanilla cupcakes are usually special order but sometimes they'll have one or two left over.

Café latte is best known for its turtle cake. When you visit be sure you get a slice. And not the day old slice that you can purchase, but the fresh turtle cake. It's rich and chocolatey with gooey caramel and crunchy pecans. My mouth is salivating just thinking about it!

  13. Everything there looks tasty. I've never been to MN so I haven't gotten a chance to try... yet! I understand what you mean, though, I have a bougie side as well. One of my favorite places here is True Kitchen and it's on the bougie side to me. Very eclectic too! I love that it's organic, fresh and natural. ... I like this post.
