This year has had it's fair share of ups and downs, just like any other. That's just life, right? But as for this little blog of mine, 2016 has been great.
Every year, I like to take a look back at the milestones in my life and share some of the highlights with you all.
A Look Back at 2016
I started off the year with a fresh haircut. they say when a woman cuts her hair, she's about to change her life. I don't know about that, but I kinda want to cut my hair again. We'll see what 2017 brings me.
Our family said goodbye to our dog Zack in May. It was really tough on me and I wanted to share about my experience on my blog but didn't until much later. Read more about it here.
I had been contemplating a blog name change for some time and I changed my name from Stacie Sayz So to Stacie Raye. Stacie Raye is what my dad used to call me and has a special meaning to me. It just made sense to switch the name since this blog has a special place in my heart as well.
In September, I took a trip to Wisconsin for a one of a kind experience with Kohl's. I met these awesome ladies and formed great relationships that I know will continue to grow throughout the years. Besides the wonderful opportunity, I learned a ton of fashion advice and my confidence improved a ton!
I am a grandmother the second time around and I'm loving this little girl right here!
Late this year, I had an emergency appendectomy the day before Thanksgiving and I've been in recovery since. Thank God I'm feeling much better and I can't wait to return to normal life.

I'm always intrigued to see what my most popular blog post for the year ends up being. This year,
you all wanted to know about my first time using Thred Up and how it works. Hmmph, maybe I need to do a few more posts on ThredUp. We shall see.
All in all, it was a good year and I'm looking forward to more blessings in 2017!
