Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Makeovers with Macy's Event at Southdale. It was all about celebrating Macy's newly renovated beauty department.
The beauty department at Macy's Southdale has been completely renovated and many vendors have brand new layouts. Guests were treated to makeovers, a Henna tattoo artist, nail art all while hearing a DJ spin the latest tunes.

Every girl wants to get a makeover from M.A.C. including myself so I sat down for a full face makeup look. I don't usually wear a full face as I'm more a lipstick girl. I fell in love with a beautiful brown lipstick called Fudge. One of the other make up counter girls complimented me saying, Girl, who's lipstick is that? You need that color in your life!" Sold!
Macy's now has a Benefit Brow station! The eye brow specialists are in the process of being hired and licensed and you can look forward to getting your eyebrows serviced soon.

I also had the chance to tour Blue Mercury, Macy's beauty store within a store. You can find luxury skincare, makeup, hair care products. It also has a spa for all of your pampering needs.
