Every guest got a Sigma shopping bag and two free Sigma sample brushes.
This was the first ever make a show to be held in Minneapolis, at least to my knowledge. The day of beauty was full of vendors with discounted beauty products from hair, skin, and nail brands. There were plenty of beauty artists on deck doing beauty demos and services.
The Commons Hotel, a small boutique hotel on the U of M campus, hosted the beauty event. I expected The Midwest Makeup Show to be small because hey, it's Minnesota and I was right.
Workshops and classes were presented throughout the day. On the main stage, you could listen to sessions such as Building Your Kit, Building a Business, Building Your Credibility, Building Your Future, and Building Your Confidence.
Exhibitors included Frends Beauty, Blush Beauty Room, Midwest Makeup Supply, Brow Chick, Aveda Institute Minneapolis, and many others. The line to purchase the discounted beauty items wrapped around the entire room so we decided to skip it.

My daughter is expecting and we were both hangry. We left early to try to find a good place to eat. It's hard to focus without food so we ended up missing the classes and workshops.
Hopefully next year it will be bigger. I realize this was the first one so it can only get better from here, right? Next time, I will be sure we eat before we leave the house!
Have you ever been to a Makeup Show? What was it like?
Haha! I love freebies too, and l would have enjoyed this a lot. I usually save anything and everything for my sisters as l rarely wear makeup :-) . Glad you had fun..love your sandals :-)
