I have been feeling all kinds of jelly over Influenster Voxboxes others have been getting. I don't know if I don't fit the demographic for some of these voxboxes, but I have been missing out.But not this time honey!
I got picked to receive the Marc Jacobs Glow Stick Luminizer. Finally! Now, I'm not going to sit here, lie and say that I even know how to use a highlighter but I wanted to at least try one.
The Marc Jacobs Glow Stick is portable and comes in a universal shade that is supposed to flatter all skin tones. It's super easy to use. Just swipe slightly above your cheekbone. $42

Because I looked a hot mess with it on, I had my daughter show you and I how it's done. I think it really adds to her make-up look. This shimmery highlighter is the perfect addition to your summer face. Of course, I'm going to pass this Glow Stick onto her. She'll get way more use out of it.
Guess I'll just have to wait for the next Influenster Voxbox.

ReplyDeleteI actually like how this one looks. I wear highlighters occasionally but would probably wear them more often if they worked well with my skintone or didn't look cakey. This one looks great and love the packaging.

I just learned how to correctly put on concealer so now the next step for me would be to try a highlighter. I love a good shimmer. Your daughter is gorgeoussss like her mama!!
ReplyDeleteMy makeup skills are really basic and minimal. I can't do anything fancy, I just don't have the skills. That is a great score though and it looks great on your daughter.

ReplyDeleteWearing lipstick is the only make-up I sometimes wear. So, I had never heard of highlighter. I would have been like you with this product. I would not have known what to do with it....lol.
