It's been forever since I wore braids in my hair. I think at least thirteen years to be exact! But, I've been eyeing a few summer braided hairstyles that have been popular on Instagram and Pinterest.

Crochet Braids - Seems like everybody and their Mama have been sporting these. They have been around for years but have made a beautiful comeback. I don't know how to french braid, I know it's a shame. Someone would have to braid it up for me and I could possibly crochet the hair myself? Umm...yeah, maybe not.

Box Braids - My daughter has been wearing these lately and she did a great job on hers (I don't have pictures). Of course I want her to hook me up, but I'm not sure I have the patience to sit and wait.

DeleteI've been wanting to try some crochet braids. I've just recently learned how to cornrow, so I think I'm going to give it a try in the future.

DeleteAmber has been wearing crochet braids off and on and I used to do mine years ago when they were first popular. I think the Ghana braids will look good on you.
