It's Maxi Dress time and I have been wanting to share this Sunday outfit for a while now. I've had this casual Maxi Dress from Old Navy hanging in my closet and finally decided to wear it. I paired it with a Lane Bryant denim vest.

I think I was feeling shy about how I would look in it. Partially, because I didn't want to draw attention to my ample waist. Then I thought, Hey Plus size women can wear anything they feel comfortable in. This dress is comfortable, light and feminine. And I feel good in it! Nuff said!

ReplyDeleteI know how you feel. I didn't feel right wearing this by itself so I bought the vest. Turns out, It got hot and I took the vest off and still felt good.

ReplyDeleteI love that dress! My go to is usually a maxi skirt! I like that they are easy to wear and I can pretty much wear them anywhere.
ReplyDeleteI think the main thing I most try to conceal is my tummy, which swells because of meds and chemo. I usually camouflage with slender shirts and tops. Bigger tops actually make the area look larger on me.
