Personally, I don't wear a lot of makeup. But you won't catch me leave the house without something on my lips, be it lipstick or a bit of gloss. When it comes to eye shadow, I'm a little more shy. At least once a week, I wear something on my lids to play up one of my best features, my eyes.
Generally, I gravitate towards neutral, shimmery eye shadow colors. I had been eyeing the Maybelline Nude Palette and decided purchased it a while ago. I've since played with a few colors and wanted to share a few of the swatches.

The more bronze colors are my favorite in the pallette. If you are wanting to try eye shadow but are afraid of being too dramatic, I would give this a try. The colors match almost any skin tone and you can go as light or as bold as you want to.

DeleteI am so shy! It is amazing if I even wear eyeliner! haha, but I never thought to just wear brown shades of eyeliner. I just imagined that it had to be colorful and bold. One of my goals is to come up with a simple makeup routine for work, so, I may have to try this =)

DeleteI am so happy that you shared this information! I have been searching for an affordable nude palette for a long time! I do wear eyeshadow. I just wore a glittery gold for the first time earlier this week. I usually wear neutral or shimmery colors like you!

DeleteI don't wear it often, but I like it. I just think I'm not very good at applying it well. I have been able to achieve the looks I see on models.

DeleteStacie I think this is an amazing nude palette and it performs well for the price point. Maybelline also came out with three other palettes but since I don't need anything else I left them in the store.

DeleteI love eyeshadows!! I haven't braved the bold colors I love shimmery colors and sometimes pastels. This nude palette is quite nice, I think I may add it to my collection. I am working on stepping my makeup game up. and will be doing an inexpensive makeup haul in a few weeks. #BLMGirls
