Now that I'm older I still fight the battle of the brows and they seem to have a mind of their own.
I usually just wax my brows and sometimes trim them, but I haven't yet been able to master the perfect brow look. Flipping through the pages of a fashion magazine, I saw the ad for Maybelline Brow Drama. That's it! I had to have it. After searching a couple of Target stores, I finally found it, and went straight home to try it out.
I liked how easy it was to apply. Just brush on your eyebrows to your desired shape. Seems easy enough.
Okay, this isn't bad.
The color I choose was Deep Brown. I'm not sure if I was crazy about the shape of them. They seemed really thick, but I guess that's trendy now.
I sported my newly shaped brows around the house and showed my hubby and daughter the results. But after they dried a while, I noticed that they seemed to itch. I kept rubbing my hand over my hardened brows and just couldn't get with the feeling. I ended up washing it right off.
Shoot!
I was so hoping I would like this product. Guess I'll keep waxing them for now.

Do you fight the battle of the brows?
I use MAC eyebrow pencil to fill in my brows and don't use anything else. This product from Maybelline seems like a mascara. #ProductReviewParty
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right, it is like mascara! Maybe I should go back to filling them in with a pencil.
DeleteI am definitely due for some new mascara, thanks for this review.
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess you can say it's like mascara for your brows. ;)
DeleteOh no not hard brows! I don't think I could get with that. OH well...I will stick with threading. #productreviewparty
ReplyDeleteI've never tried threading. I hear it works well. I just don't want any pain.
DeleteI am no beauty guru. I don't wear much makeup, but my daughter does. I've never done my eyebrows before (I know, gasp! Right?), which is a shame, because I have no eyebrows. I should spend some time and try this. =0)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review!
I'm visiting today from Product Review Mom and the weekend linky.
Don't feel bad. It took me years to start actually doing something with them. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteYikes! Well, at least you saved me some time and money here. My brows have constantly fought with me, too. I blame the 90's when thinner brows were in and then having to try to train them to grow thicker for this decade.
ReplyDeleteI guess I'm old school, because I really don't like the thick brow look. Oh well.
