In my latest Influenster Jadore Voxbox, I received a pair of falsies. Okay, this will be interesting, I thought! You see, this girl has NEVER worn fake eyelashes and the thought of applying them perfectly was flat out intimidating! But never the less, I love trying new things.
First, I had to ask the resident MUA (Make up artist) my daughter, how to apply them. The directions looked simple enough, but I knew I would need her assistance.
She did her best to show me how to do it. I did okay, but clearly missed a few spots. See the ends?
They looked pretty on, but I obviously need more practice. After about 20 minutes or so, those babies came off. I just couldn't take it anymore!

I do have to say that I loved the way these looked in pictures. They really made my eyes stand out and I didn't have any eye makeup on. I imagine they would have really been nice with a bit of eye-shadow.
What's your experience with fake eye lashes? Do you love them? Hate them? Do tell!
I tried on these lashes (it was my first time too) and I hated them! I don't like having fake eyelashes on, it feels weird. Plus, after awhile false eyelashes due to the glue can pull out your own lashes. Not good! #ProductReviewParty

DeleteI have naturally long lashes so I only use mascara and that seems to do the trick. Have you ever done some sort of semi-permanent for lashes? There is some kind of way they fuse them on. #productreviewparty
ReplyDeleteLucky duck! My boys have super long lashes. They don't even need them lol! Never heard of the semi perm ones.
