This weeks Frugal Family Day is at Riverview Theater. Now, you may not have a Riverview Theater where you live, but I bet you have a cheap places to watch movies. Movies that are no longer featured in major theaters can be seen here for $2 and $3. Not bad!
Riverview Theater is an old fashioned style theater from the 1950's. Popcorn made with real butter is what they are known for. And, it's only $3.50 for a large bucket! Can you believe that?
We hadn't been there in quite some time, but we were looking for something to do that was affordable for everyone. Our family decided to see Iron Man 3 and loved it.
Look at these cool couches!
My guys can't keep a straight face!
Do you have a cheap movie theater where you live? Would you rather see movies when they first release or do you wait for flicks to come out on DVD?
You guys were right near my house!! We go to that theatre all the time & we love it!
ReplyDeleteReally? I'm thinking this is going to be one of my new regular family stops.
DeleteYes we have them too. Haven't been to one since we moved out here, but when we lived in the city I would go often. Thanks for the reminder. Need to see what they have playing at the show.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Nicole! There are some really goods ones showing here.
DeleteYes, we have one too but I haven't been in years. It was kind of junky looking though. Not cool like yours.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's too bad. Ours is pretty cool with all the retro decorations.
