MN Blogger Conference Recap

This past weekend, I attended the Minnesota Blogger Conference and I must say, I LOVED it! Seasoned bloggers, wanna be bloggers, and companies united under one roof to learn, network, and grow.

We met at Coco, which is a coworking and collaborative space. The warehouse style office building felt cozy and causal.

A sampling of the sessions were, Growing as writers, Blogging shouldn't be a hassle, it should be easy, and Finding your authentic voice. My favorite? How bloggers can generate revenue from advertising. Plus, it was a blast seeing Christina of Northern Cheapskate and Carrie of Pocket Your Dollars once again.

One of the first bloggers I met was Frantic Mommy (the winner of the free ticket contest) from northern Minnesota. She borrowed me 4 bucks for parking which was a God send since I didn't have change. Thanks girl!

From the very beginning, I learned so much. I'm embarrassed to say I've been blogging all wrong. I've got a major over haul to do and at first, I felt intimated and overwhelmed. After a few days, I feel much better. I realize that I can do this, and I'm putting my hand to the plow. You tube has been a friend of mine lately!

All in all, I feel empowered and inspired. Can't wait 'til next year!
