It's all about love this week and today I'm going to show you my Valentine's Day inspired manicure.
I'm no nail artist, but now days you don't have to be. In fact, with the right tools, you can come up with a cute Valentines nail art design that's all your own!
Nail Art Tool Kit Directions:
*First, apply 2 coats of Revlon Top Speed nail polish. I used Vintage, but any red will do. Wait a few minutes to dry.
*Then gently peel the heart stencil and lightly stick to nail. Paint the design onto your nail. Let it dry a bit. Blow nail to speed it up. Peel off and apply to another nail and repeat the process. I used Revlon Top Speed in Golden.
*Use a dotting tool to add polka dots if so desired.
*Finish with a top coat of your choice.
Items can be purchase items from Target. (affiliate)
Do you like to play with nail art?
I don't mind doing it on the girls' nails but not my own. I don't think I have the patience. Yours look nice. That vintage red is nice too, really looks vintage!
ReplyDeleteThank you Petula! I don't do a lot of nail art, but I thought I'd be festive for Valentine's Day.
DeleteYour nails are so cute. I have no idea how you are able to do your own nails though. When I attempt it, my nails look like my kids painted them. #ProductReviewParty
ReplyDeleteLol, girl I know what you mean! Sometimes my nails look the same way. I just say forget it and go with it.
DeleteI have never done nail art. I'm so plain I either do just a regular nail polish or add a bit of glitter to it. I'm doing my toes today so I'm going to check out some nail polishes at the store. #ProductReviewParty
ReplyDeleteI usually don't do a lot of nail art either but I have been wanting to try it out. Toes are the perfect place to start!
DeleteOh that is just too cute! I have too many bottles of polish at home, yet I have my nails done at the salon - crazy right?
ReplyDeleteHey, I'd go to the salon too, but my budget says "do them at home, girl"!
DeleteThanks Suzie! I try, I try. ;)
